This Gut Loving Soup is the perfect Winter Warmer to boost your microbiome and immune system.

Makes one big bowl or 2 smaller bowels



1 Courgette

3 Swiss Chard Leaves

2 Cavolo Nero Leaves

1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar

Splash of Water

Handful of Rocket

Pinch of Himalayan Pink Salt

Handful of Coriander

1 tsp Cinnamon

1 tsp Ginger

2 tsp Chinese Five Spice

1 tsp fresh grated Nutmeg or powdered


Optional Toppings

Chunks of Smoked Mackerel

Grilled Calamari

1 tbsp Sprouted Flax Seed milled



  • Steam the courgette, cavolo nero and swiss chard under tender
  • Place into a blender with the water, apple cider vinegar, salt, rocket, spices and coriander
  • Blitz until smooth
  • Pour into a bowl and add the optional toppings. Nuts and seeds also work well if you want to keep it a vegan soup.
